The Second Petition to the European Tribunal for Human Rights in Strasbourg

The attorney of the CHRIS office Vranje, Mladen Vasic with lawyers of the Coimmittee After analyzing and evaluating of the case made by a team of lawyers and attorneys, the Committee for Human Rights Vranje – CHRIS Vranje, with the support of the attorney Mladen Vasic, filled a petition to the European Tribunal for Human Rights in Strasbourg. In fact, 49 former workers of GPDS “Novogradnja” from Vranje, applied to the Committee because of unpaid money earned during their work in Libya before 15 years. 

The workers took the proceedings at the Municipal Court of Vranje in order to get their daily wages in foreign currency and they lodged a complaint against GPDS “Novogradnja”. The Municipal Court of Vranje reached a verdict that could go down in the annals of jurisdiction for conditions that were set, for what they had no opportunity to pay claims besides the existing of executive documents

Regarding the fact that workers who had suffered a loss could not realize their rights in our state; a petition is filled to the European Tribunal, for realizing these rights after 15 years.
