The Second Petition to the European Tribunal for Human Rights in Strasbourg

The attorney of the CHRIS office Vranje, Mladen Vasic with lawyers of the Coimmittee After analyzing and evaluating of the case made by a team of lawyers and attorneys, the Committee for Human Rights Vranje – CHRIS Vranje, with the support of the attorney Mladen Vasic, filled a petition to the European Tribunal for Human Rights in Strasbourg. In fact, 49 former workers of GPDS “Novogradnja” from Vranje, applied to the Committee because of unpaid money earned during their work in Libya before 15 years.

Gun attack on police officer

/ Vranje, November 3rd 2008, VRANJE PRESS / Police officers of the Police Administrative Division Vranje took Misko S. (39) from Vranje to the coroner of the Municipal Court Vranje under reasonable suspicion that he committed a criminal act of family violence and attacked the police officer who was doing his official job.

Parents did not take care of their children

/ Vranje, Blic, AVP, Tuesday, October 28th 2008. / Since October 23rd two children have been placed in the children department of the Health Center; they are fifteen month old Stefan D. and three month old Ognjen D, brothers who were neglected and left very often by his father alcoholic and his mother psychical patient.

Psychiatric findings of the suspected of four murders given to the court

/ Vranje, 27.10.2008. VRANJE PRESS / Findings of the medical team of the Special psychiatric hospital in Toponica near to Nis, after medical examination which lasted several days concerning Boban Mitic (34), suspected to have committed four murders in March of this year, said that “he has no any mental illness or disorder”.

Tragical epilogue of one more case of family violence on the South of Serbia

/ Vranje, October 22, 2008. - Vranje Press /  Ilija Stoiljković (74), a retired joiner from Vranjska Banja, on Tuesday, 21st October, early in the morning, in the family house, knifed and killed his wife Desa Stoiljkovic (68), and after that he hanged himself at premises, said a source from the Vranje police.

He firstly killed his wife, and after that himself

/ Vranje 21.10.2008. – Večernje Novosti / Ilija Stoiljković (74) from Vranjska Banja, on the Thuesday, in the morning, between seven and eight hour, knifed his wife Desanka (68). After this murder, Ilija hanged himself in the garage.

Law Preventing Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities

/1 July 2008/ One year cyclus of monitoring activities related to implementation of the Law Preventing Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities ended. Skoplje /24 July 2008/ - Operators of Macedonian Interior Ministry, located in Tetovo police office, uncovered in the village of Zerovljane, in the northwest of the country, four Serbian young women and a Bulgarian illegaly confined in the „Orient As“ bar owned by a certin local Albanian Alija A. (38) from the nearby village Bogovinje.
